Annual Maintenance for your WatchDog NXT Dehumidifier

Your new NXT dehumidifier requires a little maintenance to continue running properly. Cleaning the filters, coils, and drain will help prevent any issues.

Before beginning any maintenance or repairs, always remember to turn your dehumidifier off and allow it to shut down completely. It can take up to a minute for the unit to cycle off.

Cleaning the Filters

First, check the filters for dirt and buildup, then rinse with water or replace, depending on the filter type:

•Pre-Filter (standard on dehumidifier: Rinse with water
• MERV-10 Filters (standard on dehumidifier): Replace as needed
• Carbon & HEPA Filters (optional accessories): Replace as needed

Tools Needed:
• Self-Rinsing Foaming Coil Cleaner (WEB Coil Cleaner)
•Spray the entire surface of the coils with the spray
•Let sit for 5 minutes
• That’s it. There’s no need to wash off the coil cleaner.
